Weekly Large Item Pick-Up for Residents

As part of our contract with Republic Services, each service address is allowed one large item pick-up per week. This is for Village of Quincy residents only that are receiving garbage service through Republic Services.

If you live within the Village and wish to discard one large item, you must contact the Village office at 517-639-9065 and let us know what the one item is and at what address. You must contact us no later than each Thursday by 5 p.m. for pickup on the following Monday. If that Monday is a holiday, the pickup will take place the following day.

Since this is part of our existing contract with Republic Services, there is no additional charge. You are limited (no exceptions) to one item. The only items that will be picked up are those that have been arranged with the Village office.

Please do not contact Republic Services for these pickups. You must contact the Village office directly. Republic Services will not be picking up any items that are not on the list that is provided by the Village.

Due to this contract we have with Republic Services, we are eliminating the annual Village-wide garbage pickup.
